GLB: What makes this space “home?”

Jordan: The familiarity I have with how the light moves in the apartment throughout the day and the way it changes with the seasons.  

GLB: What are 3 things in your apartment that you can’t live without?

Jordan:

1.) My reading nook 

2.) The art. With the help of one of my best friends, Hilary Fagadau who owns a great LA/Dallas gallery called 12.26 (https://www.gallery1226.com/), I’ve been able to surround myself with some beautiful paintings and photographs. Almost everything in the apartment was bought from her or is something she’s loaned me.

3.) My little second floor office

GLB: What room do you spend the most time in? Why?

Jordan: The living room. Whether it’s the peaceful early morning light coming through the eastern windows, or the strong afternoon light pouring through the big western window, it almost has a magnetic pull on me. 

GLB: What are your favorite neighborhood spots?

Jordan: Maru, All Time, Skylight Books
