Neighborhood: Los Feliz
Time Lived In: 4 years
What industry are you in?
I'm an actor and more recently have entered the world of being a content creator as well.
What makes this space “home?”
Both Wilshire, my dog, and the fact that since I live alone, I got to make the space completely my own. I think curating a space exactly how you want it, makes it feel so home-y!
What are 3 things in your apartment that you can’t live without?
My espresso machine at number one for sure, my favorite Byredo hand soap in the scent "rose", and my big, comfy couch! Best investment i ever made.
What room do you spend the most time in? Why?
Definitely my living room. I do self tapes here and then any other kind of work/side project from my couch. my record player is also in the living room and i love putting a different record on everyday for when im working or memorizing lines. I always try to pick one that i feel like the character im reading for would like. It helps me get into the headspace of becoming that character.
Favorite neighborhood spots?
Maru Coffee (literally the best coffee in los angeles and you cannot tell me differently), The Dresden (the best cocktails in los angeles and once again, cannot tell me differently), and Drugstore Cowboy for karaoke on wednesdays (so fun)!
Favorite piece of furniture? Why?
Once again, my couch! It's so comfortable and also stain resistant which is great with having a pet and just purely because I'm a clutz and always spilling something.
What do you love about living in a historic building?
I love the character that it has and that my space is basically one of a kind! I love 1920's-40's architecture and design so if feel the space really suits my style as well.
What do you love about living in Los Angeles?
So many things! Los Angeles is such a special
place to me and was my dream since i was little. I come from a really small southern town that no one ever leaves, where you get married and have kids right out of high school/college and that's the norm. I had big dreams of being an actor and LA always represented endless opportunities and safety for me. But most of all, somewhere i could be unapologetically myself. I moved here about 7 years ago and really could not be more grateful for everything this city has provided for me.
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in the most everyday things. I think that's the beauty of LA is there is so much inspiration all around you.
Anything you’re working on?
I have a feature film lined up that starts filming later this year that I'm so excited about! It has some people attached that I've always wanted to work with so i"m just excited to learn from them.
